Climate change affects us on a global but also on a personal level. In this VR experience, users can simulate how the weather situation at different locations has changed. They can experience typical Chicago snowfall from decades ago, how it is today, and what it might be like in the future. Similar simulations are planned for other locations to show draught, rainfall, wind, and other weather related phenomena.
The project is currently in an early prototype stage.
Future versions of the project will include physical installations to increase immersion and allow users to experience the weather also with their other senses.
