Physical cards used as part of the design process benefit from their materiality. However, groups might not always be able to be in the same physical space – but still want to collaborate in real time (or asynchronously) in the design process.
For this reason we are building a web app that allows designers to make use of existing design cards (such as the Mixed Reality Game Cards) in an accessible digital form. We are interested in exploring how a digital version can afford similar interactions as their physical counterpart – and what potential benefits could be.
The project is currently in an early prototype stage.
